The world-famous Resort is in Canmore, Alberta. It is on Kananaskis Way right off highway 1.

A 75-minute drive from the Calgary International Airport. There are several shuttle services($) from the airport that come to Canmore/Banff.

It is a 15-minute drive to Banff, a 45-minute drive to Lake Louise, a five-minute drive to downtown Canmore. Close to world-class ski resorts like Banff/ Norquay (20 KM), Nakisha ( 54 KM away) Sunshine Village ( 41 KM). Elevation Place is 1.1 KM away.

Canmore has many great restaurants, and a real community town feels.

You are a 20-minute drive to Banff and close to all ski resorts like Nakiska, Sunshine, Norquay and more. Lots of great golf courses are very close. Ask us about some world class hikes right outside your unit.

The Lodges has 3 buildings, you are in the Wolfe Building. This is the main building where the front desk and pool are.

Cable and WIFI

Coffee

The coffee maker is on the Counter

The coffee and creamer are all in the refrigerator.

There are paper towels under the kitchen sink and extra toilet paper under the sink in the bathrooms and upstairs linen closet

All other utensils are in the kitchen cupboards and drawers.

Kitchen

You should find everything you need to cook, including pots and pans, serving spoons, dishes, cutlery and more.

Please put things back when you’re done or put them in the dishwasher and start it before you check out.

Towels and Linens

All the sheets and towels have been cleaned. Extra towels and sheets can be found in the linen closet upstairs.

Couch

The couch in the living room converts to a bed.

Remove pillows, pull the bar forward and towards you and pull the bed out.

The bedding for the couch is located on the laundry machine ( next to the bathroom). There is also two pillows with clean pillow cases.

An extra blanket can be found in the linen closet upstairs.

Heat and Air Conditioner

The unit is heated with the heat register on the wall.

Turn on the fireplace with the switch on the wall.

Cooling

In the winter slightly opening the windows will keep you cool. If needed, there is an extra fan in the closet. In the loft bedroom upstairs you will find a fan light on the ceiling, use the remote to operate. Please keep this remote by the night table.

In the summer, feel free to turn on the air conditioner unit in the living room when necessary.

The Resort

The Swimming Pool

The pool hours are 10 AM to 10 PM

The outdoor pool is in this building, leave the unit, go right, take elevator to the first floor, the pool is past the front desk. There is NO lifeguard so please take caution.

The pool and parking is accessible with the room key

The outdoor, heated swimming pool is open year round. It is kept at 84 degrees in the winter. If the outside temperature dips below minus 21 degrees, the pool will close( via health and safety regulation). Call the front desk to confirm.

There is a hot tub beside the pool

There are a couple of other outdoor hot tubs located in the building

Toddler’s Playground. You can see this from the balcony.

Parking

There is some free parking

outside the building if you chose. There is lots of underground, heated parking. At check-in, the front desk will give you your room key; this accesses parking too. Park wherever you like, bring your things to the elevator lobby and bring them up to your room. The penthouse is on the 3 floor.

Ski Stuff and Bikes

Please keep your ski equipment in the designated School Sized storage locker in the parkade, not in the unit.

Please bring your own lock

This area is monitored by security cameras.

There is a bike storage area there as well.

Otherwise, keep ski equipment on the front door landing of the unit

Getting Around

The front desk staff is accommodating if you need directions or suggestions.

The Lodges is right off Highway One. Turn onto Bow Valley Parkway, Right off Kananaskis Way and then onto Montane Road.

There are buses that can take you into town or to Banff

Downtown is a 10 minute walk. Here you will find lots of restaurants, bars and shops.
